Emerson Commander backordered? Also need finish help

Hi all,

I'm looking for an Emerson Commader partially serrated with black finish. Seems like everyone is backordered. Does this happen from time to time with Emerson knives? This will be my first. Anyone know of a retailer that has them in stock?

I was able to find it in the stonewashed finish with the swedge, but there's just something about the black and the contours of the blade I like. Anyone recommend the stonewashed? Is it a paint?

Stone wash is not a paint. It's kind of a matte finish and the grinds are satin. It is an awesome finish. Emerson makes knives in batches so once they are gone for the year they are gone. EKI recently moved to a bigger facility so hopefully that means more knives and more availablity soon. Good Luck
