Emerson commander (blue G-10) ???

I just purchased and emerson commander with blue g-10 handles, was there ever a sprint run of the commander with blue-g-10 or did somone remove them from a trainer and do the semi custom job? i would greatly appreciate any info.
 
The trainers are blue but the knives them selves are usually offered in black and green G-10.

It probably is a scale swap or just a new set made in blue.
 
i have never heard of commanders having blue handles, IIRC a small run for the LASO had brown IIRC, and a brownish coating on the blade, but never blue, i would imagine they either came off a trainer or someone had 'em made.

I will post some pics as soon as she arrives. I think the seller did just swap the G-10 off of a trainer. thanks for the feedback guys.

p.s. I will also post pics of my super cqc-7 and cqc-13 and mini cqc-7b later.


all Mc Gyver needed was some chewing gum, a nail file, and a hanger, all i need is my Emerson and a sandwich. lol
