A big thumbs up to Emerson CS. I had a problem with an old Commander, 2000 model, that wouldn't lockup properly. I had reground the blade to have a normal edge. Anyway after all that I started to have problems with the liner lock closing under the slightest pressure. I sent Emerson an email, and they told me to just send the knife on in. That was about two weeks ago. Today I got a package from them, and in it was a NEW Commander. Well, not new really, but it might as well have been. The only things on the knife I got back that were the same as I sent in were the scales. Thats right, I got a new blade, new liners, and all new hardware.

The lock problem had me worried about buying another knife from Emerson again. I had done nothing to cause the problem, in fact I had hardly used the knife at all. But now seeing how far the CS people will go to ensure that I am happy, and have a safe knife I have no worries.

Great people to deal with. I sent a CQC back for repair, and it was returned quickly just like new. :D

Yup yup yup.
I sent my cqc back for a sharpening and when I got it back it was razor sharp, clean, and smooth. It was pretty quick too.

I hope you guys are not fibbin?

When his Commander 1st. came out had nothing but trouble with it & them. It never got fixed and every time I called they couldn't get their heads out of their @$$!

Someone convince me their build quailty is acceptable now?

yep we are all fibbin, we all really own large amounts of EKI stock, and are trying to encourage neophytes to purchase crummy poorly made EKI stuff cuz we make lots of $$ on it lol
