Hello Steve, I was wondering about the approximate cost of having a CQC-15 converted to a Ti framlock? I understand that you're not taking on any work right now but if there's some sort of waiting list i'd love to get on it. Thanks

well im not STR but im pretty sure it is $170. and you might have to wait for his wrist to heal. that is assuming he does the cqc 15. but if he doesnt you could probably send it in.

About all I've done to make any contact list is sort those that have contacted me via email in a file I made just for future reference titled "Framelock conversions" but at this point with my injury and now looking to move from Oklahoma to Tennessee I can't say when I'll be doing them. I have done this conversion on the 15 but its not one I get a lot of call for.

Contact me via my email at STRsbackyardknifeworksatgmail.com (use the @ to replace 'at' first) and I'll suggest a couple things you can do in the mean time if you like and then I'll move the contact to my file so I'll have your information to contact you when the shop is reopened for business as usual. Right now I'm just hit or miss and not doing a bunch although I am trying to keep my hand at it best I can. Oh and the price quoted is the old price. New prices took effect right before I hurt my wrist. $170 is the new bare bones cost and of course depending on bells and whistles it can go up from there based on options or model needs.

Thanks for asking.
