I cant decide between the cqc-7 or the super cqc-7. Is the super to big of a knife to carry daily? I have a benchmade griptillion right now and im looking to retire it after a few years and get a cqc-7. Any help would be greatful.

Id say cqc 7b for EDC. the only difference that i know of is the size, and the cqc 7 has a 3.3 blade and the super has a 3.8. IMHO 3.3 is plenty for EDC

The normal 7 is perfect for everything. The super 7 is gigantic. It may not seem that big by looking at specs but it is BIG.

Cqc 7V is the way id go. I have the 7bw and the 7v. The 7v is a better knife IMO

Maybe posting a side/side comparison can help?

Well both blades are a liner lock with g10 scales. They are both tanto knives and are both available with the wave. The super 7 is larger by quite a bit. The super is 9.18 inches while the 7b is 8.0 inches. The super is also a heavy 5.7 ounce while the 7 is 4oz witch is doable and bearable. They both have a chisel grind and are both 154cm.

The knives are basically identical, there is also a cqc 7v. witch is the middle ground in terms of price.

7b is 145
7v is 170
super 7 is 195 (prices may varry) Id say the 7b or 7v, id pick the 7b personally.

The super can ride in a pocket, but you will know it is there! Pic is the three sizes of the CQC-7 along with a 16. The super is a large knife.

PS. I modded the mini so that the pivot can be adjust with a coin.
