Emerson CQC 8 Wave or CQC 11

thanks

I like my 8 alot. It feels great in the hand, and cuts and pierces very well. IMO, great combination. It also rides well in the pocket.

Get both
I love Mr Emerson
nothing but respect there

Get the CQC 11

thats what jesus would do

I'd go with the 8, the handle fills your hand, though if you want something bigger and can carry it legally, 11 all the way

i love the blade profile of the 11, but the 8 is easier to carry as it is narrower.

cant go wrong either way, but id go with the 11.

I like the 8 as well. I think the blade shape is ideal for most chores and the tip is strong. Also the blade shape makes it very easy to sharpen with any stone shape(i.e. you don't need anything fancy)

Don't own the 8.....but love my 11. Bit thick for EDC for me but still ends up in the pocket. And when I want the beefyness for a particular day, it's a great choice. Has a certain strength to it and a grip that won't let go.

The 11 is the best of both worlds for utility and SD. Blade design, length, grind and handle ergos really fit the bill for an all purpose edged tool, hence the name, Utcom. You can get this thing really sharp too! I have other Emerson"s, but this one covers all the bases for an edc.

Matador-

imho the very best production emerson is the CQC12, has a frame lock, almost a std "v" grind, great aesthetics, of all my emersons (even customs) the '12 is my fav (right now anyway lol).
