I just ordered my first Emerson knife. The CQC-8, partially serrated, black blade. Can't wait for it to arrive. I've been reading about & looking at Emerson knives for over 15 years now...

The CQC-8 arrived yesterday. Very nice knife. A little small in my hand. I'd like a little more punyo. The liner lock needs to lock up a little further into the blade, but I'm guessing that this will improve with use. Looks like a Super CQC-8 is a future purchase!

Looks like the Thanksgiving sale at KnifeWorks made me order a Commander BT. That's it for now...even though that CQC-15 looks real nice.

I'm not as big a guy as you, I guess. The 8 is just a bit big in my hands, but I love the blade size so I deal with it. It's still quite comfortable anyway.
I've also found the 8 gets RIDICULOUSLY sharp with EASE! I love the CQC-8.
