Well not really sure where to start this off ive been on here for a while looking around but this is my first time posting a thread.
I just bought my first emerson and went with the cqc 8 and the linder lock is so stiff that i can barely disengage the lock my thumb is raw... i was just wondering if this is normal for emersons like a break in period and if not witch i have a hard time beliveing it for how much the knife cost so anyways on to my reason for posting this is there anyone who has a recomendaton on how to fix this or if i should just send it back to emerson and let them fix it. thanks for any input.

play with it a bit, it will break in; however, it will always lock up securely (I have been carrying on for 3 years and it is super solid); great knife for you, good luck

You might try a little graphite on the lock face. It will break in with time, but that will help smooth it out until it does.

Definite break in time due to the liner being titanium. It will even seem worse when well oiled at first. Give it time, definitely a knife you can .

I had to close my CQC13 two handed for the first 2 weeks I had it, its still a little sticky but is usable one handed now.
