This description from the Emerson site mentions two handles one g-10 and the other titanium. When I click order now it only shows the version with G-10 handles.

From the Emerson web site:
"We offer two versions. Both versions have a rock solid .125 inch thick integral lock. One has a top handle of .125 inch checkered G-10 and the other has a top handle of .125 inch titanium - making it one of the strongest folding knives ever produced."

Question:
Does Emerson make one with with a Titanium top handle?
Is the titanium top handle more expensive?
Anyone know where I can get the version with the Titanium top handle?

The CQC 12 "Combo" is G10 on one side and Ti on the other. The Ti side is used as a Frame lock.
Your looking for a Tough knife? This one it it!

you can get them with titanium on bothe sides but there is really no need for a full Ti version unless you really want one.

ya canget a all ti version but they are hard to find and expensive when ya find one, i have a G10/ti version and it works just fine imho.

EKI is no longer makiing the all ti version irregardless of what it says on the website.

look on ebay for an all ti one, or some of the custom knife sites (ie arizona custom knives, steel addiction, true north knives) they might have one, expect to spend $350 anyway, probably more like $400 for a LNIB one.

i dont think they are worth the difference in price myself, but YMMV.
