I have an cqc7 emerson spec war made by benchmade. With the blade shut the flat part of the blade rides against the liner. If I loosen the blade it moves toward the middle but then the blade have play in it. Also the liner lock engages all the way over to the opposite liner in order to lock. I tried the trick of loosening the bolt and pushing it toward the side it already is on. ( I thought I read that here somewhere.) But it did not work. I really love the knife it is one of my favorite. (had it since ...way back) Any suggestions would be great.
 
send it in to EKI and let them fix it, they generally do it pretty fast and usually ya only pay return shipping.
