Yes. I've done it before with those so no problem.

Its a small Wave compared to others but its enough to allow it to work.

great if you take it apart could you file the blade down some so the lock engages more?
 
I'll look at it but I doubt I'll have to modify the blade. We'll see.

i took it apart and filed down the blade a little bit more secure of a lock but not much. i will probably file some more tomorrow.
 
Yeah, I don't recommend that. Messing with the most critical part of the liner lock function is risky business unless you can duplicate the contact angle or know how to improve it. I'd say if you are mailing it to me anyway to at least let me see if thats what it needs to have done to it or if its something else.

A hairs width is huge in a folder. So be very careful here.

Trust me. Don't do it. I made the same mistake and now have an awesome knife I have to get fixed because I misjudged the amount to file off.
