Emerson CQC8 good blade?

Just bought a CQC8 PE satin finish off BF and was wondering what your guys opinions are about the knife ? Is it a good EDC? Would it be a good blade to carry overseas in Afganistan (U.S. Marine Corps)? I also bought a ZT300 thought i would try both. The seller said this CQC8 has the titanium liner lock. Any opinions on the wave feature?
All opinions welcome.

'8s are great knives, work fine for edc, & would also be fine for military use, ditto with the wave, with practice its the fastest way to deploy a folder imho, i have edc'd custom and production '8s and they have always served me well,
 
Man, the CQC-8 seems to have had a new breeze of life :eek:

They are one of the better EKIs so im not surprised.
I think i'll have to pick a used one up for my next pimp project :thumbup:
 
Military use, especially USMC, is opening MREs and cutting 550. However it seems like a great blade, though I like my Comrade for the moment. You could wait for the 'Super 8'...
