Hey fellas :-)

Recently i saw a pic of an Emerson CQC8 that a fellow forumite posted, and after performing a search on the web, I didnt find anything but a lil text on emerson's own site... is it out there for sale, is it a prototipe?
I have the pic if someone wants to see it, altough it surely belongs to the one that posted it :-O

bye!

I have quite a collection of the CQC8's.......PIX!!!! :p Sorry mate, only pix...let me know if you are interested and i'll send some to you.

The CQC8 used to be the largest custom folder in Emerson's line but the new Tactical Persian is the current 'big mama-jama'. If i'm not mistaken, the blade length is about 3.75" or 4" but the new Tac. Persian's 4.1" blade tops it. I'm the lucky few who managed to get in the list for the custom CQC8 before Emerson's announcement upon his retirement from custom knife making. This is my forth year running and i hope i'll get it sometime end of this year...hehehe! :D

There are the custom ones and now Surefire has exclusive rights to the production design in their package with the C-2 Centurion light. The site says that only Surefire can distribute the 8, so I am unsure if they will eventually be availible by themselves.

Patrick at Triple Aught also has them listed for pre-orders- the combo pack.

I also read on Surefire forum that it will not be a limited edition and I would guess that down the road it would be offered without the light. However, the package at $330.00 is not a bad deal- a great knife and a great light!

Maybe the general production version will be WAVED! Hey, I can hope, right?
