First Custom Emerson I've seen has come my way finally. I knew it was coming eventually. This one for a clip flip for a south paw. The owner of this fine knife wanted the bolsters re bead blasted but decided against that after we spoke on it when I informed him that it would be best to rebead blast the whole knife since just the bolsters would make is so they no longer matched.

I was surprised to hear the story of how he sent this to EKI and they refused to flip the clip for him, but kept his money and mailed it home untouched. What an aggrevation that must have been. Wonder why? You would think if a guy spent the kind of money this classy little CQC6 cost that he was entitled to make it conducive to his own needs for his strong hand, and he should be complimented for at least offering the maker the chance to do the modification rather than someone else but whatever.

This is the first of these CQC6 models I have ever seen in person. Its very nice. I could enjoy owning one this size myself. I didn't know until this came to me that Ernie even offered another smaller folder size in a CQC model. Looking at the pics all these years of this model I never realized how small it was. Its a perfect EDC size.

I'll just say now if the owner of this little jewel ever sells it I'd like to know. I may not want to pay for it but I'd like to know first. :D

My bad. I thought it was a 6. I wouldn't know one from the other though.

Thanks for setting me straight. Glad you like it. I did too.
