I recently removed the thumb disc from my cqc-7, in order to reprofile the edge (it was getting in the way). Anyway, when I went to screw it back in, it wouldn't thread back in and I snapped the screw in the blade. I sent it to Emerson for repair, and a week later they sent me a brand new knife! Hats off to Emerson!!!
