Emerson CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I recently purchased a Gypsy Jack. I bought it knowing it had a broken thumb stud screw. I had contacted Emerson prior to purchasing the knife. They took the time to look at pictures of the broken screw lodged into the blade. The thought it would be covered under warranty, but no promises..

I bought it, shipped it to Emerson with my CC number and hoped for the best... I shipped knife one week ago today.. I get the mail this morning and my Gypsy is already back with a BRAND NEW blade on it.. Charge was 14.00 for shipping !!

As a business owner, I try to instill a culture of exceptional customer service.. we talk about it all the time.. I always tell my people, you take care of the customer, I take care of you, the customer will take care of all of us!! I think Ernie has instilled the same culture. it sure feels great on my end to be the recipient of such great service!

Emerson makes a wonderful knife and backs it up with exceptional service..

That's awesome! The assurance of solid warranties and cs is a huge buying factor. Pics would certainly be welcome, too ;)
 
Glad it worked out for you. I have heard nothing but good stuff about their CS. I called them a couple weeks ago to ask the correct way to register my mini commander, a lady (I think Mrs Emerson, not sure) picked up the phone on like the second ring and was super nice. I love being able to call and talk to PEOPLE. Now I just have to fight the urge to buy a CQC-7.
 
That is great cs. Never had to send a knife in for warranty on any brand but it is always nice to hear when a company stands behind their product.
