Hi guys, I'm trying to decide which model is going to be my next Emerson and I would like to see them and feel them in person
I don't know why but my search show no dealers around?? Everybody has the more "commercial" ones
Any ideas? In the Emerson page there is not a dealer locator as far as I know

Thanks!!!

BB

the only dealers for EKI i have heard of is extreme sports and I&I sports, both are no where near dallas lol.

extreme sells the SOCFK and I&I did sell the I&I tanto, i dont know that EKI has dealers really, i havent heard of any.

i know mcbrides and cutting edge in austin and round rock have some EKI's but not nearly the whole line of them. last time i was at mcbrides IIRC they didnt have any EKI's.

ya should try the gun show, there is a member of BF named bob who sells mostly knives and surefire stuff at the austin gunshow and he usually has a few EKI's(by a few i mean a dozen or so, sometimes more), i think he makes the dallas show IIRC, if ya want his email em me at

cvettercr1@aol.com

and i'll send it to ya.............

BBW,

The "Knife Outlet" chain at the Arlington Parks Mall has a bunch of Emersons. They're full retail. That mall is @ I20/Cooper Street.

"House of Blades" in Lake Worth (just north of Fort Worth) has a boat load of blades... I'd just bet Emerson is represented there. Call ahead. Expect retail there, too.

Good gravy, whether you score an Emerson or not, you gotta go see House of Blades just for the amazing experience of being in a room/building with THAT many different custom and production knives, all at the same time. Pretty killer selection.

looks like I'm going to head there just for the recommendation!! ;)
Thanks

i go to laredo occasionally (though i havent been for about a yr) and i am pretty sure no one sells EKI's there, i sure have never seen any except at the gun show.

Try CFI (Contemporary Firearms Inc.) in Fort Worth, Tx. I believe they are on the loop in Fort Worth. Do a web search for "CFI Firearms" and you will get a link to their site. They used to be wholesale only, but are now open to the general public. They have a showroom, and I purchased my last Commander BTS there, in person. I believe in store prices are lower than the ones listed on the web, but it has been a couple years since I have been there. They were very friendly, and had a good selection. Call ahead for stock, and definately get directions, they are "very" difficult to locate. They can help you with that. Good Luck!
