There is probably a post about this already but I have to post a pic of this blade; even though it is a ZT it is all Emerson.
The grind lines are a sight to see, I took the ZT clip off and put the one from my Horseman on it to see if it fits, it's a perfect match, even the screws fit. Of course you can see the CNC made attributes to it, but what's blade it is! I really like the design.
One thing I don't like too much is the closing of the blade, it just falls as soon as you push the lock open, I'd like it to be a little tighter but it is what it is, maybe I can tighten it it up later, I have to take it apart to take a look at the bearings, I think it has bearings on the pivot, it is very smooth.
What it doesn't have is the rawness I love so much about Emersons, but I have to admit, it is very well made.

i have one as well and the 0630 version. both great knives, but i'm not big on frame locks. like you said the rawness isn't there. nicely put btw.

the zts are very pretty though.

Yeah they are, I'll probably let it go later on.

No bearings on p/b washers

Well, I stand corrected, I haven't taken it apart but it sure feels like it's on bearings, maybe I just need to tighten the pivot. Thanks man.

I love ZT, sans their pivot. It just detracts from the knife for me. Needless to say, the knife is overall beautiful and I will probably get one someday.

I know what you mean, I need a socket wrench to adjust this thing! Nothing like a flat screw head for simplicity in the field. But you're right, I've been playing with it and it is addictive, I'm amazed by the smoothness of the action; but I discovered that the pivot was loose.
Btw, it takes a 3/8" wrench and a T10 for the handle; so I would just adjust the pivot on the sweet spot and use some blue loctite, then I'd walk away; I just hate the idea of using any thread locking fluids in my knives.
I have to admit that the lock bar stop/insert is an ingenious solution for over travel stop.check it out:

There are a lot of steel parts in this knife, it is heavy, typical ZT. I still love the Emerson design, it's what makes it so good in my eyes.
