I would like to announce an upcoming Emerson Extreme Close Quarters Combat course. The dates for the course will be Saturday and Sunday, January 26 and 27, 2002. This class will be located at the Blocker Academy of Martial Arts in Rolling Hills, CA.

Due to the nature and intensity of this course, the number of applicants will be limited.

I'm definitely interested, and I'll call to ask some of these questions directly, but if anyone on the forums knows... Other than the obvious funds requirement, are there any minimum skills required? I've training in kenpo, but no real training in knife use. Also, what equipment will be required.

Shame it is so close to the last Edged Weapons Seminar that Nyeti organised otherwise I'd be there for certain, but I'm still paying off the Credit Card for the last one and I don't think I'd get another overseas trip past the wife ! :D

For those of you that do get a chance to go, you'll have fun !
 
this is killin me, im going to train in japan for 10 days takin all my $$$$ up for about 60 days.

I'm curious as to when the CQC book and video series are coming out.
 
...they'll ever consider a course in Western Canada (Like Vancouver/Calgary).
