Emerson Elvia question

Hello All,

Recently bought a standard size Elvia. The knife is not as strong as I hoped it would be. I noticed it uses the small nylontron washers vs. the full size washer used on all my other Emersons.

There is not much blade area sandwiched together at the pivot, and as such there is noticable blade flex. Yes, I did tighten the pivot screw, but it is still there.
Also noticed they use a small stop pin for the blade. In all I wish there was more substance to the knife.

Now my question is about the Super Elvia construction:
Does anyone know if the Super Elvia uses the full size Emerson washers and is there more purchase for the pivot screw to give the blade more clamping force? Also, does the Super use a full size stop pin on the knife?

Thanks in advance

I'll admit being a neophyte but why don't you simply call Emerson's?

Could you send a picture of the small stop pin? Never heard of there being more than one size stop pin.
