Emerson Fixed Blade options?

Hi Everyone,
I never really gave Emerson Knives the time of day until recently. I love their bowie style blades.
However I'm partial to full tang knives myself. Now I have seen some images on google of full tang Emerson Knives; I was wondering if anyone has experience with them, and where might I be able to buy one.
Cheers.

I don't have much experience with EKI fixed blades but I'm having trouble coming up with any hits for the PUK on my usual dealers (gpknives, bhq, new graham). There's always Emerson themselves who'll have them in stock (or should). If you end up getting one, as always pics or didn't happen!

The only 3 production fixed blade models I know about are the PUK (Police Utility Knife), the La Griffe, and the fixed Karambit. I know there are a few people on here that have some La Griffes and probably Karambits, but I've never seen a PUK. They are all very hard to find for sale as well, especially the PUK. Sometimes I feel that the PUK is a myth.

As for bowie blades, they have a few folding models that have them. The 13 and the 8 variants are considered bowies. The Patriot has a bowie with a recurve. Just something to consider. Good luck.

I like your name by the way.

Ok, I'll keep that in mind. I have seen the PUK before, It's not my favorite. I however did not know it had a fixed version. I will have to keep my eyes open.
What got me on to the whole was this image;
ECA2006.jpg

That image and the auction it was available at is from 2006 I believe.
That knife is exactly what I have been searching for for awhile. Full tang, bowie, with a ergonomic handle.

Looks like a fixed 13. And it's an ECA knife...which means you'll have to find an Emerson collector who'd be willing to part with it.

The PUK isn't a myth, you just have to know where to look :D

I know where there are two for sale right now, have been there for quite some time.

Think about getting a Bud Nealy or Daniel Fairly fixed blade.
A fixed blade knife MUST have a perfect sheath or it's a fail.
