Emerson Fixed blades

While I like the folders, I find myself drawn to Emerson's fixed blades. I have a Vindicator that I just got and it is great. It amazes me that Emrson has chosen to let the fixed blades all but disappear. I would think that they are a little easier to make and therefore faster to get out to the customer (improving his image of being too slow). I would LOVE to get a Phaser, but with a 4+ year wait, it doesn't seem likely. Anyone else like his fixed blades more than the folders, or am I alone?

Personally I like folders over fixed blades. But, if I was to get one it would be the "Vindicator". Talk about style!

Emerson still makes fixed blades he just does not advertise them. unfortunately the wait is likely no less for these customs.
I owned a Vindicator briefly. It is cool but being a 1/4" slab of steel makes it heavy. I personally feel that the handle is not as comfortable as some of his other fixed blade knives.
