Does anyone know if Emerson knives will be producing any more fixed blades in the future?

I have the Police model and it's great, but I feel that it is a little in the short side.

Emerson Knives have produced some excellent fixed blades in the past (Vindicator/Trident etc), but as far as I know, not many in recent years,except for the Kandahar which is not yet available outside of the collectors group.

Feedback would be appreciated.

he had some christmas stuff on his website, all gone though. ive only seen customs recently in the 1200.00 range. no productions other than the one you already have.
at a show i heard him mention he prefers to make folders.
 
though i love emerson folders his fixed blades have never really impressed me that much, i have seen emerson custom fixed blades sell in the $250 to $300 range (at bladeart and arizona custom knives) so they arent as popular nor pricey as his folders which run $1200 and up, up, up.

if i was set on an emerson fixed blade i would keep an eye out for a custom one the ones i have seen were not that high, since he mostly makes folders ya would think the FBs would be rarer thus higher, not so, go figure.
 
I hope they do! I would like to check one out,maybe even buy one.Since they do not make alot of them,it could be highly collectable in years to come.
