Does any one of the usual suspects have one yet? What are the details?
Is it a chisel grind ? Or does it have a grind like the Commander?
Gentlemen, some facts, please.

Yes, several folks here, including myself, have the Tanto folders (aka "I&I Tanto"). It a word, they "Rock"!

Basically I see the "Tanto" as the coming together of three different knives. A longer, four inched CQC7B blade (true Chisel ground), the guarded grip of the Commander (among others) and the butt of a Viper MV-1. Add to that, "Third Generation" styling (new style traction grooves and larger stop pin) and she's a winner.

The only thing I'd change is I'd move the clip further up the body about a 1/4 inch to give it a lower profile in your pocket. But that's just my tastes.

Oh yeah it rocks!

The I&I Sports Tanto was my first "real" Emerson and it came out of the uncrushed box PERFECT so maybe it's a fake...who knows ;)

I now miss the "wave" but the lines are so clean and it is just the smoothest thing I have ever used that it still finds a place in my EDC collection.

If you do not need or desire a waved blade it gets a big thumbs up from me!

Is there a knife you don't have a picture of?

I try man, I try. :D

Quote RAYE:
Is the Tanto exclusive to I&I?

Correct. I&I Sports is the only dealer that carries them.

You can however buy them directly from EKI. The Tanto is one of the knives that you can also have done by the C/P shop. :)

John is quite correct. The Tanto ROCKS!! My daily carry, due to it's slim profile and Commander-like handle. If it had a wave...don't EVEN get me started! One pretty cool thing that John didn't mention, the liner on the lock side is a hair thicker, to make the lock that much more failsafe. Just thought I'd chip in with that. :D
