Does any know of a craftsman who currently will do conversion of Emerson knives with a titanium framelock? I found a few old posts and internet sites about some done in the past but it seems they are no longer active in this area.
I love my super karambit and have carried it every day for two years now (except for a brief infatuation with OTFs). It is due now for a second linerlock replacement. Emerson customer service is fast and efficient but I don't know if I can go for a few weeks without one, I might have to get a second one first. I probably wave it too often and too hard. I think that the finger ring and the heavier weight than the combat karambit allow a wave with much more momentum and hence wear on the liner lock. A framelock version from EKI would be nice but it would add a lot of cost to an already expensive knife.
Anyway, I hope to eventually find someone to do a conversion.
