Emerson grind question

do they use a flat or hollow grind ? I have a few people offering me some blades but the grind (not the edge) needs touched up, I hate scratches in my grinds (personal issue) if it’s flat maybe I can do it on my belt sander if it’s hollow I can’t
 
Emerson uses flat grinds. A saber grind in the proper term. Even on their chisel ground blades, the side thats beveled is saber ground.
 
That’s good to hear I can just get a 3 or 400 grit belt and put it up against the belt and the metal part behind the belt and grind it flat and be done with it.

Wonder what grit they use for bevels in the factory ?
