Emerson handle scales

First off, full disclosure ... I do not own an Emerson knife ... yet ...

However, I was wondering what the chances are of seeing more variety in the scale colors? I know certain models have tan or OD handles but not all. What I'm really interested in is a cqc-8 horseman with digi-cam or tan scales.

Any possibility of this in the future?

I ordered two sets of red linen micarta knife scales. You know, the blanks. I went with it because the guy who said he'd do them seemed pretty comfortable with micarta. I seen a whole lot more fancier ones in G-10 and some other materials though. I also cosidered the dust, G-10 is pretty harsh from what I understand.

Those scales should be here today so soon enough we'll see what they look like. I'm picturing a red swiss army knife type of color. I ordered two sets because micarta is cheap and if he messes up, there's another one. If not he scored some scales.

The guy I'm deling with is local but I've seen people advertise their scale making abilities on this forum. So maybe do a search on the site and enquire.

There's nothing wrong with black. But damn near every knife comes black. Variety is nice.
