I'd really like to own one of these and am willing to pay top reasonable price. If you have one and are willing to sell, please contact me.

Thanks. I've been talking to her about it. It is well used and without box. She is asking $350. I haven't yet been able to strike a deal with her. I don't want to pay that much unless the knife is NIB. I read somewhere that Emerson has a new mfg facility. My guess is that he will start making this knife again sometime soon after it goes online. HD-7 pricing will drop like a rock then.

For that kind of money, you could buy yourself a 7 and find a knifemaker to add a framelock.

Your best bet is to start a thread in the correct forum. In a thread you should include what conditions you would like to have this knife under, NIB, slightly used, etc.

No, it more than likely won't - I think you are mistaken.. How do you come to that conclusion anyway? All Emerson knives are made according to a production schedule, you can follow it on Twitter.

I think there is some production/procurement related hassle that keeps the HD-7 from an production line regular.

I had my HD-7 listed for sale a lot of places and possibly had it overpriced which caused it not to sell and I'm actually glad about that now. Not sure when the next production run will be, but I'll likely want one of those too to go with my first production year HD-7.
