I received my EKI karambit today. Satin, plain edge, black G10 handle. I can see this being my EDC for quite awhile. Reasons-
1. Under 3" blade=legal carry pretty much everywhere.
2. Hawk-bill blade is very useful for my work- construction/office environments.
3. Handle design- perfect for utility/self defense.
4. Overall design- great for all the above reasons, plus the lock-up is rock solid. Blade is scapel sharp, looks easy to resharpen. Once this knife is locked in your grip, there is no way you are going to loose it or have it taken away.
My experience with the current crop of 2004 Emersons has been very positive. The Q.C. is excellent in all respects. You won't be sorry if you buy this knife.
