Emerson Kerambit question

Hi folks. I'm considering the Emerson Kerambit for a future purchase.

I've checked the "search" function for previous reviews, etc., but most of those came out shortly after the kerambit was released. There hasn't been much activity in this section of BF for a while, and I'm curious to hear from current owners, especially the ones who have owned one for some time to get an updated review, i.e., how the lock is holding up, etc.

Thanks in advance!

I owned two of them for about a year, using them on a regular basis, until I decided karambits weren't for me.

These knives are extremely well made and the locks held up perfectly even though one knife was waved a lot.

You won't be disappointed.

I`ve got two EKI ECK a pre production and a zero ground. I`ve carried and used them alot excellent knives. I own quite a few EKI knives. Bought the first one in 1998 and I`ve never ever had a liner lock problem. They are very fast and very sharp so be careful.

Got my first a few mos. ago, have carried it ever since. Solid lock-up, no problems at all. I plan on another folder, as well as an EKI fixed-blade .

M,

I had the same questions before I bought my Karambit last week. I LOVE IT. It quickly became my favorite knife. Don't worry, you'll love it.

I have a question for those who have both the fixed & the folder! Which Emerson Karambit do you perfer & why??
Be safe,
Jim

I prefer the folder because I can carry it in public without having to worry about getting arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.
