this is my first post and my biggest question, I have two emerson's a CQC-8 and a commander both with the same problem the liner lock slips when you put presure on the spine of the blade. it has really made me think twice about getting another one is this a freak event or is this common.

My personal experience with Emersons is that this is normal. They do have a great warranty though. You can send it back and it will be fixed.

oh right they make the thing so it will fail lol, no its not normal, i have several EKI's and none do that, some of the early EKI's (pre '99 or so) had some liner lock issues but that was solved years ago and isnt common at all anymore, send them back to EKI for repair.
