Last time I was on here I ran a giveaway and then pretty much dropped off. I’m back for a hot minute and needed you professionals help. So long story endless I’m in an office now 30% of the time. Need a different Emerson maybe a mini? My current is a super 7 and I’m feeling some judgmental looks from the staff. I don’t wave it open or anything just looking to tone it down. I’d find a place to paw some models but no joy around here. As always I’m in your debt for your time and experience and have nothing but respect.
Respectfully, Chance.

Well, if you like the 7 you could get a mini CQC-7, or regular CQC-7. Mini is a waved tanto B blade. Regular size you can get flipper, waved/unwaved, A or B blade (or V for that matter). Plus the black or serrated blade options. The A blade is nice, it's not intimidating. Some of those are available on EKI now, some you'd have to check eBay/elsewhere for (but could still be found for around retail price).

Mini Commander is an option, I just got one for my wife and it was very nice, a lot of knife in a small package. Although not sure it's less knifey or scary to non knife folks.

Hard to find, but a Mini A100 would fit the bill perfectly if you are OK with waveless. Also a bit hard to find, but the Reliant offers a chisel blade, and the Endeavor a drop point.

Get a KACK. And if they look at you funny, tell them you got it from Ashton Kutcher when he was in the movie "Killers". ;)

You need an all black A-100

I wear a suit to work and I 'Mexican Carry' a regular size A-100 and nobody can tell as the pocket clip sits on an angle behind my belt. Otherwise I'll have it in my desk, in my lunch bag, etc. And I do use it at work. I use it all the time. It's not so 'tactical' looking to everyone else so I never get any odd looks.

Sometimes I'll have a no-wave 7, but the A-100 just rides more comfortably carried the way I do.

Mini A-100 or mini-7 are a both a very good choice too, if you have small lady hands ;)

Dear friends, I had some come and go. I ended up keeping the Bulldog and the mini commander. I appreciate all who took the time to share their knowledge.

Good on you to be rocking an Emerson in the harsh environs where the office sheeple roam.

Great choices. The handles on those are excellent for their size. Congrats on finding your keepers!
