Emerson Mach 1 any good?

as the topic suggests, I am interested in what you guys think of emerson mach 1?
another thing, is, i really hate these black finishes, the only reason why i still get the black emersons is because its like a emerson identity, an emerson just doesn't look like one without the bt coating, to me at least...but i will still get one, just was looking for a detailed review on this knife, thanks in advance~!

I really like my mach-1, I have a black t plain edge with od green g10. Picked it up on the forums for $95, and it is in like new condition. I really like the blade length, long, but not so long it is a pain to carry. I think the best thing about the mach-1 is the grip to it-the handle is very comfortable. fit and finish are great and my lockup is rock solid. the black t on mine and all my current emersons seem to be much more abrasion resistant than those done by benchmade, which are very "soft." I have not done any tests where I sharpen sticks for 2 days and then shave my arm, or bury it in mud for a year then bring it out, dunk it in water and shave with it, but it looks nice, performs all that I ask of it (which is rather mundane, I don't get in many knife fights

). I would highly recommend it. just keep your eyes peeled on the forums and you can pick them up at pretty good prices.

I've got 2 Mach-1s and while they are nice,
I still like "the wave" so with that said,I carry one of my 3 SOCFKs.All I can say is if you get the chance buy one and then start saving for your next one, etc.......
