I picked this one up on the Exchange Forum, my first Emerson since they were made by Benchmade!
I contacted forum member spketch about doing some Bocote scales, after seeing his work in a couple of other posts.
He was, in my opinion, the best choice I could have made, to take on this project.
Thank you Mr. Emerson, for making a great knife. Thank you spketch, for making it something unique for me.

I've acquired an A-100 since having spketch do the Mini,
but I'm having a tough time deciding what wood to have him put on it!
I'm open to suggestions!

Best regards everyone.

Nicely done! Looks great. For wood scales, I've always liked Koa a lot. For a darker look, I also like Ebony quite a bit. Have fun. Mike

Fantastic! That's exactly what Id like for my mini..

Thanks for the comments everybody.
All credit due goes to spketch, for his great work!

If you could find it, the heart wood from a mesquite tree has a really dark red coloration with interesting grain. If polished with tung oil it's beautiful. I have a rifle stock made from it and that wood is very hard to tear up.
