First is an Emerson CQC 7AW with a satin finish. This has been carried twice, but is still in like new condition. This is my 4th Emerson and I have never liked their factory edges. While sharp, they do not appear to finish the edge with a very fine stone so it tends to slice really well (with the mini serrations), but they do not hold an edge at all. So, I mirror finished the edge on my Edge Pro to their 1500g tape, which equates to about an 8000 grit japanese stone. Its crazy sharp now and will hold an edge much better. I did this on my CQC 14 and it held up much better and would do a push cut with ease. Year on blade is 2010, knife is number 0111. I waited 4 months for this bad boy when they were first offered on the Emerson website and now I am willing to part for it for $180 shipped USPS with tracking. SOLD

Secondly, an Emerson Mini Commander with a satin finish and a serrated edge. This was never carried. I intended to carry this hunting but started using fixed blades for the field so this one never saw the light of day. Still has a factory edge, never got around to mirror finishing it. Year is 2006, number 1100. $160--> $145 shipped USPS with tracking.

Email is best. Please ask questions first, then post the "I'll take it" to claim it.

Stay sharp
JT
