Emerson Mini Commander

Hey guys I just received my mini commander and I love it. However the liner lock is pretty sticky and is tearing up my thumb in the break in process. I was wondering if this is just normal to the break in for a brand new knife and also how long does it usually take before it gets any easier. Thanks in advance.

It's the normal break-in period. The titanium liner is going to be a little sticky against the steel initially. If you want to speed up the process, you can take a pencil and color the lock face to speed things up a little.

The graphite in the pencil acts a dry lubricant, same principle as using graphite to lubricate key cylinders in locks.
