Hello All,


I've been a knife and gun guy for the longest time, and mainly a buyer, but I need to sell a few items. My wife and I are over budget on a remodel project due to unforeseen issues, so I need to sell a few things to get more cash together. Anyway, to get to the point. I have a well-kept Emerson Viper 3, also known as the MV3, a custom knife built by Ernie some time ago. I loved the knife, which was owned by a friend, and my wife bought it from him for me a few years ago as a birthday present. Unfortunately, I don't have the heart to carry it, and since it sits in the safe, we decided it is time to let it go. I signed up to see what the value of this knife is now worth. I can post up pictures once I get home if it helps. It does not have the original box, but I do have a Bill's case to go along with it. The link below is for the same knife, but I do not have any of the stuff it was supposed to come with. I have it posted on a few sites already, and some have said I am asking too much for it. I believe the posted price is $1450 shipped/insured. Thanks in advance for your help!

Number one you will have to buy a paid membership and then post it in the custom for sale section.
 
I'm fine with that, but I'd like to get input as to what I should be posting it for, and if it's worth selling at this point. If I can't get what my wife paid for it, then I'd rather hang onto it for now. There's no sense in me paying to post it to lose more money.

An MV-1 just sold elsewhere at auction for around that price and it was a definite user so I imagine you could get what you want.
 
Before you post about this again, please read our rules.
