Emerson/Neeley Timberline Specwar Question

I have what I think is a early Timberline Specwar knife that has the Black Ti finish with a blued or polished black chisel ground section. I heard that later they came with a gray ti finish including the chisel ground section. Most of the black ti finish blades I see online don't have the blued chisel ground section. Can someone help me date mine and why some edges are look blued on the black ti ? I will be listing it here later but want to have a little more info on the blade finish before listing it. Thanks
