Emerson Persian

So ive been looking around at various emerson models and came across the persian. I EDC'd a benchmade bedlam for a long time and im a big fan of those persian style blades. Unfortunately this thing is no where to be found. I would imagine it would be a popular model no? Is this a special run blade only for Mr. Emerson? You guys have any advice for finding one?

Last I checked, the Persian hadn't been available from dealers in a few years. There was a limited run available only from Emersons site. There could be some leftover.
 
That sounds expensive. I hope he considers another batch in the future. Does his shop take custom orders by chance?
 
They don't take full knife custom orders. A few pop up on the exchange here from time to time, usually around $200 or so.
 
Are they out of them at Emerson? I bought mine directly from them a few months ago, as they just did a run of them. More like $250 direct.

Yeah, I meant it's been years since the last time that they did a run. I figured I was clear since I linked to the current batch that is still in stock.
 
Those stonewash ones sold fast. If you really want one get one of those black ones before they are gone. These are hard to find second hand for a reasonable price
 
I looked for a Persian for a long time, then ended up acquiring 3 of them within a couple of months. Kept one to get customized, and sold the other two. EKI later announced that they were making another run.

I'll leave this here to fuel the fire...

Bummer the stonewashed are gone! I've been waiting to get a microtech back from the spa to flip it and get one! :grumpy:
 
I have two of the Persians. One was the Emerson Collector's model and a regular one with the black blade .
