I just got this in a trade!:triumphant:

This knife is basically a full custom by the time everything has been done to this knife. It started out as an emerson 7 and got a complete overhaul. Rossi did an amazing job with a completely new custom reblade. Pete Grey (from Grey Precision on USN) then took the knife and gave it an overhaul. The knife is absolutely the smoothest rock solid pimped emerson I have felt. Pete's attention to detail is beyond ridiculous. If you get this knife you will understand why he really does deserve the company name Grey Precision

Below are the specs that Pete said about the knife:

Blasted liners with 2 tone edge work.

Custom handfiled Ti backspacer to match scales, 2 tone bead blast and orangepeeled finish.

All harware beadblasted, then pivot, and scale screws satin polished.

Clip and screws left beadblast.

Custom one off Lignum Vitae custom scales hand filed and finished to resemble "Bamboo".

Custom one off matching Ti lanyard bead finished in 2 tone bronze and satin to match.

Full tune and re-timing of action.

When are these things up for trade when I'm on the forum? Haha what a well made knife. What's left on it that's actually emerson? Not knocking it at all, but the pimp job seems to be almost an entirely new knife.

Thats a gorgeous knife. He did a good job matching the bronzing on the bead to the scales.

What does tuning and re-timing the action consist of?

This part was done by Pete Grey (from Grey Precision)
I have no idea how he does his voodoo, that is what I spend a few $ sending a knife to Bill Yester or someone like Pete that knows what
they are doing - I don't - and I want my knives to operate as smoothly as possible….
