Emerson Police Utility Knife

Hey guys, this is my first post :p..first of all this forum is awesome, I enjoyed reading the posts very much.
Im interested in buying a emerson PUK as my first knife, but I got some questions,
*How come the price difference on different websites is greater than $100? Are they the same knife and sheath?

Don't know about the Emerson, but in that price range, I'd try Swamp Rat knives, or Scrapyard knives.

Welcome to BF.
The Emerson PUK is a nice knife, and i bet you would be very happy with it. But for what your willing to spend, i would get a swamp rat M6 or a Ranger knife.
 
the PUKs are "ok" but i dont really like them, emerson is more known for folders vs fixed blades imho, a lot of better FBs around for the same dollar.

I just got an email from emersonknives.com saying that they r not producing PUKs anymore :(...
Took a look at the knives u guys mentioned, the swamp rats look pretty bad Im comparing them with the chris reeve's shadow III and Aviator.
Any comments on the chris reeve's FBs?

reeves FBs are top notch imho, busses are also pretty darned good, or ya could try strider too.
 
I just picked up a PUK from Plaza yesterday, man I dont know why I didnt get one earlier, this thing is just the right size. Now if I could only find one in Green....
