Just to belabor the obvious, is is it reasonable to assume an ,"Emerson Protech" is a Protech knife in collaboration with Emerson?

I read that Emerson’s contract is over with Protech what’s going to happen or is happening I honestly don’t know.

well...not sure if it's over, a respected knife dealer I know picked up a few new ones at Shot Show, to include a Protech/emerson CQC-7 in Nichols Damascus...
