I don't have one either, but am interested much like yourself. I saw the product at the Emerson website, but the video clip that shows its demonstration does not work, I tried again late last night and still nothing. I would have to say, though, coming from such a reputible source, they would have to be excellent. I especially like how the wearer has the choice of a wave deployment or a standard draw with the blade closed. This is the impression that I got anyhow from reading the product descriiption. I would like to hear from someone that has one. To be honest though, it is hard to beat pocket carry, IMHO! Thanks
I have been using one of Emerersons fast deployment Commander sheaths for about 1 1/2 years. The sheath is really great. In fact I use it as much as possible. Keeps the knife handy and easy to reach.
I also notice that, over a period of time, the Commander will wear out the pocket rivet of my jeans when using the "wave" feature. With the sheath, your jeans stay like new, and the Commander is still easily deployed.
On the negative side, there are places where the sheath looks out of place and somewhat threatening. In these cases, just carry the Commander in your pocket.
