Emerson Raven Question?????

I was trying to sell a 1998 Raven today and was posed with a question. The blade is a satin finish,tanto, partial. The question was if Ravens only came in coated finish. I only have two Emersons and don't know the blade history. I know the Emerson CO. story but not much on individual knife types.
Any help guys?
