Whats up gentlemen,
Ive found Emerson some years ago but didnt really like them. Ive recently did a ton of research the last few months and decided Id give them a try. I EDC'd a Spyderco para and Military for close to 2 years then went with Benchmade mini reflex and presidio for a couple years but I was ready for something else. Last week I picked up
a black combo CQC-8. I was so impressed I ordered a CQC-7 stonewash combo this week.
What do you like better, black or stonwash? Any advantages of the black blade over the stonewash? I always had black blades but EKI stonewash looked so good I gave it a try and I really like it. So much so Im thinking about returning it and picking up the stonewash 8. Anybody have a SW combo 8 they can post up a pic of?
Where can I find a NIB stonewash combo blade SOCFK at? Anybody have one?
The lockup on my 8 is early, only about half is engaging and I know that it will get better. The 7 I just got today already seems worn in, it engages fully right in the middle of the blade. Should it be like this?
Thanks guys!
