I think I'd prefer to sell this over trade but if you have an equal value/condition BenchMade Axis lock or another Emerson in same condition value price point range you want to trade let me know about it. No fixed blades please. I'm just not a big fixed blade user really.
I just got this Saturday the 23rd of July from New Graham. Its a great knife now. I got it with the blunt tip or rounded tip. I wanted the P-SARK in green handles but couldn't find one. All that was available was black handles. So I made my own P-SARK when this one arrived byt putting a new point on the blunted tip. I did a righteous job on the point if I do say so myself.
Other than the MOD the knife is still just like it was when I got it NIB. The handle has a great feel and the grip is probably one of the better ones I've had my hands on. If I don't sell it or get any interest after a few days here I'll probably take off the Wave feature with my belt grinder and just keep it.
Truthfully, I just don't like the Wave. I thought I would and bought this because of all the requests I've recieved from guys here and on the other forums wanting me to do the Wave mod to their knives. I figured if Ernie Emerson is working a written permission thing out for me that it would be smart to see what his look like before doing some for other knife owners. Well now I've seen it. That is all I need it for. But personally I can live without the Wave. I guess if you needed the knife out and opened in a hurry it is a nice feature but more a gimmick to me personally after having it for a couple days.
Anyway pay pal preferred. $95 shipped. I have over $112 in it. FYI.
Thanks Steve
Here it is before: Please note that this pic is the one from the Emerson Web site. I neglected to scan a before pic of the actual knife before doing the point.
And after: This is the actaul knife and a better representation of what it looks like color wise also. It is not as dark as the pic above suggests.
