Makes sense Emerson uses common Phillips and and flathead, but suppose I'm in environments where I WANT Torx screws on my knife, Can I purchase a set form Emerson to install on my knife?

You can not buy torx from EKI but many places sell them. "Knifekits" is just one place you can get them on line.

In reality a philips driver is going to be in every tool box and on every multi tool but torx are not quite as common.
I don't see why one would want or need torx over any other screw ? It's the thread that keeps the screw in, not the patern on the head.

Suppose you don't want people tampering with your knife. Torx won't stop tampering, but it's uncommon enough.

You guys know which pivot and screw fits the mini A-100?

I don't think people tampering with your knife is a big enough probem to warrant a screw switch over.
Even if someone did tamper with it I don't see what they could do that wouldnt be totally obvious as soon as you picked it up.

If you just want torx screws because you just like torx then fair play.

As to the pivot, I presume you want to have a torx pivot bolt ?
If that is the case its probably easier to just replace the screw rather than the whole pivot.
You probably can find a torx bolt with the right thread but I cant remember what the thread number is off hand.
Also a torx bolt will not sit as flush with the handle as the flat head screw that comes as standard.

I would just stick with the original hard wear TBH.

You can get stainless torx screws from several places like the ones used in the Emersons and even longer. There are spline, hex head, phillips, slotted, and torx all available in a 3/8", 1/2" or even 3/4" long flat head type screws in both black oxide finish or stainless, zinc coated and so on.

micro fasteners, aarons screws, and other big suppliers such as these are good places to look for a nice choice of various screws in 2-56 size. I've bought 1/2" long black oxide phillips screws from micro fasteners in the past but here lately they do not have any. Of course if you just need a few though you can get them at knife kits but they are out of stock sometimes on certain ones too at times particularly in the longer lengths. Most of the knife suppliers sell shorter lengths though. If torx is what you want Knife kits does have some 1/2" long torx head 2-56 screws but they are not black.
