Did anyone else have a terrible time sharpening the Karambit? I was about ready to throw the Karambit out the window until I took a leather belt and stropped it . What did you do to sharpen yours? It's not shaving sharp, but it'll cut paper rather easily.

ya might look on the EKI website and see if they have any suggestions specifically for kerambits.

havent sharpened an EKI kerambit but did have a bladetech one for a while and the gatco round diamond rods worked best for me, then do the backside on cardboard/leather strop/etc.

also remember is a chisel grind and isnt gonna get sharp like a "V" grind, without a rebevel anyway.

EKI doesn't have any tips on sharpeningthe Karambit. I used my diafold Diamond and Ceramic rods, then stroped it on a leather belt. It iwn't shaving sharp like I would like it to be, but I think it will be ok.

I use a fine ceramic machinist's stone, followed by an old leather belt laid flat on a counter top. Mine is shaving sharp. Good luck..
