What is the opinion of the shoulder harness ? I was thinking about getting one for my SPECWAR , but wanted some input before monetary output ..

Emerson shoulder harness ?

I have the emerson under the shoulder rig for the CQC7, it sits in my knife case most of the time, and i have not used it other than when i tried it on. I really don't use it because of the clothes i wear i cannot conceal it. The other concern i have is that in many states with a blade locked open and concealed,it is a felony(although you can use the rig with the knife folded close). The rig allows you to wear the knife verticle or horizontal, left or right, the sheath holds the knife very tighly. I don't own any other shoulder rigs so i can't tell how it compares to others. The only thing i can tell you is that the workmanship is excellent and it is probably worth the 60 bucks if you will use it. If you are looking for ways to carry your specwar may i suggest the rapid deployment sheath, though the specwar doesn't have a wave it would be still a good way to carry the knife. Unlike a nylon sheath, you would only have to grab the knife instead of opening a flap of pouch and pulling a knife out.

I think the first time i will actually be using the rig is when i go to florida next week on vacation, i will only bring the actual sheath part of the rig and attach it to my life vest while i go kayaking to hold my CQC7.
