Emerson SOCFK vs Emerson Commander

Which one wins as a Defensive blade? As a utility blade, any one have one and want to share experinces.

IMO the Commander is the "way to go"

i have a commander and a SOCFK (and a CQC7/spec war/CQC8 also) and i prefer my green G10/black tanto SOCFK very much over my commander, commander is ok, but the SOCFK fits my hand better, the tanto blade doesnt bother me a bit, and i think the SOCFK looks better imho. i just simply prefer it to my commander, though all EKI's are great.

I think I'd probably go with the Commander. The thrusting capabilities aren't as effective as with the SOCFK, but IMO I could open larger wounds slashing with the Commander - separating vital tendons and vessels. A perp can do a lot of damage to you in a short period of time even if you've nailed him in the heart, but your potential for neutralizing the attack is greater - in my mind anyway - if you can disable his or her ability to even grasp a weapon.

I've never owned or held a SOCFK - I am speaking in referance to the blade type. I might mention that the Commander has always worked fine for me as a utility blade also.
